But that need not be. Sports scientists have studied the effects of classical music on people who enjoy working out. Karageorghis thinks that it is worth listening to classical music while training. It should be an appealing piece that suits the athlete’s senses. The effect remains the same. The scientist, therefore, recommends listening to classical music before or after training. After all, this type of music is often composed heroically and can accordingly ideally prepare the athlete for the impending stress.
